13.04.20: New guidance for key workers wishing to access childcare. Information has been posted on the Aberdeenshire Council website to allow private and third sector employers to identify the essential services they provide, and the key workers who are required to deliver the services through a registration process. This information will support the processing of applications for places at Aberdeenshire’s All-Age-Learning and Childcare hubs for Category 2 and Category 3 key workers. 31.03.20: A new website and phoneline launched today, providing people all across Grampian with information on how to access social, practical and emotional support on Coronavirus (COVID-19). The new Assistance Hub went live this morning, pulling together links to the latest advice from a range of partners including all three local authorities, Police, Health, Red Cross, volunteers and community information. It is a site for anyone in Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire and Moray, with information for residents and businesses alike. Please find below a link to the Aberdeenshire Council website for key workers to complete a request form to register their need for childcare. This form is to be completed by any parents and carers who consider themselves to be Category 1, 2 or 3 key workers who would have difficulties with sources childcare elsewhere help us assess the need of provision in this area.
